Our History
New Life Early Education was started on August 20, 2007. It provides a program of preschool classes for infants (6 weeks) through five-year olds and school age children for after school, during holidays and summer vacations.
Philosophy, Motto, and Objective
Our purpose is to commit to the vision of our church by ministering to each child’s physical, emotional, mental, social, and moral-spiritual needs. It is our motto to “Reach out and raise up the children of our community”. We want to see them as God sees them. Our objective is to provide a safe, loving and educational environment through a developmentally appropriate curriculum. In doing so, by faith we will provide an outreach to all children and families enrolled.
It is our mission here at New Life Early Education to extend the ministry of New Life Worship Center and help accomplish the purpose of our God-given talents by providing care and love for every child in our presence. As stated in Proverbs 22:6, “Train up a child in the way he/she should go: and when they are old, they will not depart from it”. We want to help every child fulfill their greatest potential in life through nurture and a strong spiritual background.
Curriculum
We use the Funshine Express curriculum guide for all ages, infant (6-weeks) thru Pre-K. It is the basis for our planning. We use Bible based curriculum, songs, and stories about Jesus and the Bible in daily interactions with each child. We also incorporate the educational components such as math, language arts, science and art. Once a week the kids will attend “Worship World”, where they will participate in a unique experience of praise songs and a short Bible verse on their level. Through interactive media such as TV and CDs, the children will learn who they are, who made them, and how God sees them.
The pre-academic curriculum is center based for children to freely explore play, but structured through thematic subjects. The curriculum includes character building and Christ-like attitudes as a main focus for the child.
Qualified teachers are selected on the basis of their personalities and love for children as well as education, experience, and expertise with programming and implementing for young children. In addition to high standards for professionalism and knowledge, our teachers will display characteristics that are warm, responsive, patient, and predictable. Each member of the teaching staff is well trained and possesses the competency and understanding essential in teaching young children. Our team of teachers also includes those that speak more than one language including American Sign Language. All teachers are background checked and finger printed for the safety of your child.
New Life Early Education is licensed by the Texas Department of Family and Protective Services and conforms to all state laws regulating the operation of daycare centers. The center is licensed to accommodate up to 46 infants and 136 toddlers through Pre-K.
