Pastor Chad has been serving in ministry since 1988. Pastor Chad holds an earned B.A. in Music (Church Music and Voice) from Lee University and an M.A. in Worship Studies and Leadership from Liberty University. Pastor Chad has been credentialed as a licensed minister with the Church of God (Cleveland, TN) since 1999 and was credentialed at the highest level of ministerial licensure in the Church of God as an Ordained Bishop in 2016.
He has served in a variety of ministry and education roles including Christian education coordinator, worship arts pastor, elementary school music teacher, middle school band director/music teacher, youth pastor, college and career pastor, young adult pastor, home group leader, marriage ministry director, men’s ministry coordinator, prayer ministry coordinator, music in missions coordinator, and spiritual life pastor. He has been teaching and training church choirs and musicians for over twenty five years. He has also served for almost two decades as a private music instructor and vocal coach.
Pastor Chad currently serves New Life Worship Center in a number of pastoral and administrative capacities including Pastor of Worship Arts and Young Adults as well as coordinator/director for Christian education, connect groups, men’s ministry, and guest services.
Pastor Chad has been married to Tyler native, Philana McNeely Stafford, for twenty-seven years. They are both grateful parents of five wonderful children - Isaak, Benjamin, Abigail, David, and Joseph (Jo-Jo).
