Bishop Rudy and CJ Bond, Senior Pastors

Bishop Rudy and CJ Bond are founding pastors of New Life Worship Center - a spirit filled and multi-cultural church located in Tyler, Texas.

In November 2002, Pastor Bond and CJ felt directed to help give birth to a new church called New Life Worship Center in Tyler, TX. In May 2005, the congregation moved into a brand new 40,000 sq. foot facility and in 2010 added an additional 12000 sq. feet for education and administration. New Life will celebrate the grand opening of the new 35,000 sq. foot community center this year. Currently, over 1500 members call New Life Worship Center their church home.

As senior pastors they oversee pastoral staff, elders, church leaders, and all areas of ministry and ministry development. Special attention is given by Pastor Bond to the preaching of the gospel and care for the church family. They have seen God’s faithfulness in growing the church from a handful of people in it’s infancy to a church with multiple ministries and outreaches. They place a high priority on ministry to youth and children. As a result, you will find thriving and growing youth and children’s ministries here at New Life.

Pastor Bill and Tammie Cooper

Pastor Bill and Tammie Cooper serve as the Senior Adult Pastors here at New Life. They bring a wealth of ministry experience and a heart for people. They are very happy to be part of the New Life pastoral team and to be leading Bridgebuilders Ministry.

Pastors John and Erin Flewelling

Pastors John and Erin currently serve together as Children’s Pastors and John additionally serves as the IT/Media director. John and Erin have served in a number of ministries and positions ranging from summer camp director, nursery coordinator to summer camp staff, youth department staff, and many other opportunities.

Their passion in ministry is to see a child come to Jesus and to develop a personal relationship with Him. John and Erin have three children, Avah, Ethan and Brielle. The Flewellings have ministered at NLWC since 2005 having started as part-time media directors.

Lars and Tricia Madison

Lars and Tricia Madison currently lead ECHO Student Ministries here at New Life Worship Center. While having served in various ministries and organizations in the West Texas region, their heart has been to impart life and the call of Christ into the youth of East Texas. They have been affiliated with New Life for over ten years. Having his Bachelors of Science from Texas Tech University, as well as multiple certificates and registries, Lars serves the East Texas region in diagnostic and interventional cardiology; while Tricia serves the region as a certified victim & rape advocate. They are the proud parents of two children: Sage and Aubree.

Teena Sessions

Teena Sessions serves as executive assistant. She is a charter member of New Life Worship Center. Teena is married to Scott Sessions, and they have a daughter Jennifer. They also have a married son and daughter in law who live in Tyler, Jeremy and Kim Gray.

Pastor Chad and Philana Stafford

Pastor Chad hails from the state of North Carolina. He accepted the call to ministry in 1989 and has served in ministry all across the southeast in five states since that time. He has been married to Philana McNeely Stafford, and Tyler native, the past twenty-six years. They are the proud parents of five wonderful children: Isaak, Benjamin, Abigail, David, and Joseph (Jo-Jo).

Pastor Chad holds a B.A. in Music (Church Music and Voice) from Lee University (’95) and an M.A. in Worship Studies and Leadership from Liberty University (’13). Pastor Chad has been credentialed with the Church of God (Cleveland, TN) since 1999 and currently serves as an Ordained Bishop with the Church of God. He has served in a variety of church and school ministry roles including worship arts pastor, music teacher, band director, youth pastor, college and career pastor, small group leader, marriage ministry director, men’s ministry coordinator, and spiritual life pastor.

Currently, Pastor Chad serves New Life Worship Center as Associate Pastor/Worship Arts Pastor where he also serves as the young adult pastor and men’s ministry coordinator. He and his family are very happy to be part of the church and look forward to what God will do in the future at New Life Worship Center.
