The Sunday and Wednesday adult connect classes listed below will help you connect and deepen your relationship with God and other believers. The reading and study of Scripture is central to all adult Bible studies. The following adult classes are what is ahead for the Spring 2019 semester. Sunday Study: The Book of Esther
Description: This adult bible study class will be exploring topics like dependency upon God, knowing who we are in Christ and who He is to us, as well as a deeper look at true meaning of worship.

Wednesday Study: The Book of Colossians
Description: This class will explore our relationship with God using the Book of Colossians and a study guide by Steve May called "Against The Tide". This class is open to adults of any age.

Study: Book of 1 and 2 Kings
Description: This in depth Bible study will contrast the lives of those who live for God and those who refuse to do so through the history of the kings of Israel and Judah. To demonstrate the fate that awaits all who refuse to make God their true leader. To restore respect for God and His message of judgment on sin but also His mercy, love, and tenderness toward faithful people. To prove that God’s care is for all who are willing to follow Him. To show that each individual must believe and live for God in his or her family, church, and nation. To know we today are vulnerable to the same forces that brought about Israel’s decay: greed, jealousy, lust for power, weakening of marriage vows, and superficiality in our devotion to God.

Meeting Time: Sundays 9:00– 10:00 am. (Every other month for 3 consecutive Sundays / Check our events page or call church office for dates)

Study: Becoming a Member of New Life
Description: This class will introduce prospective members to what the Bible teaches on the importance of Scripture, salvation, and prayer as well as the church’s beliefs, church organization, spiritual gifts, how to get involved, and what it means to be a member of New Life. This class will take place for 3 weeks every other month this spring in January, March, and May.
At New Life Worship Center we believe that everyone has a part to play. If you are new to New Life and would like to know more about our church and how to get more involved then the Experience New Life membership class is the right place to start. Please call the church office for meeting times or sign up in person in the church lobby when dates are announced. Membership opportunities usually occur every other month.

Book Studies: Hebrews on Sunday mornings and Matthew and Acts on Wednesdays
Wednesdays: Topics Covered in Matthew - Beginning of Jesus’ ministry, Jesus’ ministry in Galilee, The Kingdom of God, Jesus’ ministry in Judea’, The Olivet Discourse, Passion Week, and the Resurrection.
Topics Covered in Acts - Christ’s resurrection, Baptism of the Holy Spirit, Persecution and Scattering of Jerusalem Believers, Saul’s conversion, Paul and the Expansion of Church from Antioch to Rome, Paul’s imprisonment.

Description: Many people are living Christian lives, yet they have found themselves stuck in areas of our lives where only God can help us. This 8 part study will be taught over 16-17 weeks. The topics covered will be: 1. Stuck 2. Broken 3. Mad 4. Discontent 5. Scared 6. Overwhelmed 7. Sad 8. Unstuck.

Book Studies: Becoming a Woman of Excellence, The Changing Seasons of Life, and Brave
Description: The Women of Life Bible Study will begin 2019 by completing Cynthia Heald’ s 30th Anniversary Edition of “Becoming a Woman of Excellence” during the month of January.
They will do an in-house series titled “The Changing Seasons of Life” (February and March).
For April and May they will study Amanda Thomas’s “Brave” where they will approach the fears and struggles of being a woman.
They will close the spring teaching series out with a couple of theme parties.

Study: Sermon Digest
Description: Every Wednesday, the men meet to hold an in depth review and discussion of the Sunday sermon. This class examines Pastor Bond’s sermon from the previous Sunday to see how it applies to men’s lives. Come and join other men in the discussion.
Facilitators: Joel Nichols and Pastor Jim Pendley
Adult Care Ministry is part of our church outreach ministry and exists to minister to the needs of senior shut-ins in our community retirement centers and nursing homes. The Adult Care Ministry ministers every Sunday afternoon from 2:00-3:30pm. This ministry consists of ushers, greeters, coffee bar, parking lot and shuttle crew, and the security team. These dedicated folks comprise our first impressions team and their ministry is geared to welcome, inform, serve, and protect both members, guests, and attendees alike during services and special functions.
